Sean McNulty has been traded to the Seattle Seawolves for cap consideration.
The 2021 MLR Champion hooker departs the Giltinis in 2022 to join Alan Clarke and the Seattle Seawolves - the most successful MLR team in its five year history.
McNulty previously played for the New England Free Jacks and Rugby United New York on loan for the 2019 Major League Rugby season, before joining the Giltinis in 2021 with his brother, Harry.
The US qualified rake came through the Munster Rugby academy system before joining the Leinster Rugby Academy and playing for Leinster A in the British & Irish Cup.
General Manager of the LA Giltinis, Adam Freier said:
"Sean was a very popular member of the team, and goes without saying that any player departure within a culture like the Giltinis is difficult."
"Seattle are a great organization, who are well-coached and have an incredibly passionate fan base, where we know Sean will continue to thrive, enjoy and grow as a player.
"We wish Sean all the very best for the season ahead, and he will always be welcome back in LA as a foundation member of the Club, and MLR Champion.
Other recent player movements see DeMonte Noble released to the USA 7s program under Mike Friday, along with Belmont Shore's Adam Channel.
The Giltinis next hime game is against the Austin Gilgronis at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum at 3pm (PST) on Sunday, May 8. Tickets available here.
