The moment the LA Giltinis have been waiting for has arrived with tickets going on sale so fans can ignite the atmosphere of the next home game at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
Under coronavirus guidelines set by California and the stadium, the Giltinis can play to a crowd at 20 percent of the stadium’s capacity at the Coliseum for the April 24 clash against the San Diego Legion (6pm PT).
Tickets will go on sale on Thursday to the general public. To get early access to tickets, fans can sign up to be a Giltinis Insider at http://www.giltinis.com which will give them exclusive access to a ticket pre-sale on Wednesday.
“This is a moment we have looked forward to since the earliest stages of planning the LA Giltinis as a rugby club,” Giltinis General manager Adam Freier said.
“Everything has had our fans in mind from the positive style of rugby on the field to the experience in the stands at one of the great sports stadiums of the world.
“There has been a tremendous feeling around the team in winning our opening two home games, even without fans in the grandstands. Imagine the new level with Giltinis’ fans at the Coliseum for the first time for what will be our SoCal rivalry match against San Diego.”
Watching the Giltinis will be the most affordable seat at professional sports in LA with tickets starting at a low $20 (plus taxes and fees) for the historic first for fans on April 24.
Group and season ticket pricing is available by contacting the Giltinis’ ticketing department at firstname.lastname@example.org
The 3-0 Giltinis are setting the pace as Major League Rugby’s only unbeaten team with 21 tries across just three games with Australian star Matt Giteau guiding the side as playmaker.
“Living in one of the coolest cities in the world and being part of the excitement of sports in the US was a big part of the attraction of the Giltinis,” Giteau said.
“We are playing in a great stadium but the fans make the atmosphere and we can’t wait to experience their noise and support around us.”
The health and safety of fans is the top priority at the Coliseum for a clean, safe setting to enjoy watching your Giltinis.
The Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum is working closely with public health officials to create that safe environment.
