Ruck & Roll: Giltinis Shake Up their Music Tastes

There’s been a fresh beat in the gym this week since the LA Giltinis returned from the bye with a little Coachella still fresh in their minds.

The electronic dance music of British singer and instrumentalist Fred Again was by far the most popular takeaway from the music festival outside Palm Springs.

That’s not the mangled version by the dubious singing voices of Giltinis Brooklyn Hardaker and Tas Smith.

Giltinis No.8 Adam Ashe, still on the recovery trail after a neck injury, dabbled as a DJ in 10 or so gigs around Hermosa Beach and Manhattan Beach during the off-season.

“Fred Again will be straight into the next play list. I feel inspired,” Ashe said with a smile.

“The boys, wives and girlfriends had the best time at Coachella. I’m thinking it won’t be the last time.”

South Korean DJ Peggy Gou and Australian DJ Dom Dolla also earned new fans.

The Easter Bunny has returned to full fitness and is in selection contention for Saturday’s big clash against Rugby ATL just outside Atlanta.

To explain.

There was a little introductory circuit from a mystery figure in a bunny outfit on an electric bike to usher out the Giltinis for their recent Easter clash against Houston at the Coliseum.

It seems winger Will Chambers nominated Matt Giteau for the steamy role in the polyester bunny suit.

The truth has come out. It appears Chambers found the idea too appealing and jumped on the bike himself complete with bunny ears.

The Australian veteran has beaten a knee injury and is fit to face Rugby ATL.
