Tom Mitchell

An Olympic silver medallist with Great Britain in rugby sevens at the 2016 Rio Olympics, the first of his two Olympic campaigns.

Noted for his footwork, speed, balance and try-scoring which netted him 135 tries for England over his distinguished career in World Rugby’s HSBC Sevens Series.

A fixture in sevens, Mitchell is boldly taking the plunge into the 15-a-side game for the first time in a decade.

The excitement and challenge of this move to the Giltinis is highly motivating.

Mitchell is also a top goalkicker. He will make a late start to the MLR season after surgery on a ruptured hamstring tendon late last year.
